Career Services

The Office of Career Services works with students on 职业生涯 readiness opportunities and 技能 development through 职业生涯 tools, counseling and events. The team is available for in-person appointments, drop-ins or assisting students virtually through Skype/Zoom, 电子邮件, 闲谈，聊天, 或者通过电话. Make an appointment to set dedicated time with our staff via 握手 or by calling our office.

• If you are a current student, you have access to 握手 through Cardinal Apps. Please do not create a new account.
• Include your full name and student ID on your 电子邮件 to help with follow-up.
• To see a list of our virtual events, visit our 活动页面. Registration is done through 握手.
• 校友, if you wish to access 握手, please create an account. Our staff will approve you upon enrollment verification.
• GRADUATING CARDINALS: If you wish to change your 握手 @student.uiwtx.edu 电子邮件 to a personal 电子邮件, please complete the following:

Mission Statement

Career Services is committed to educating UIW students and 校友 in their 职业生涯 exploration development. Services include individual 职业生涯 counseling, 个性 and 职业生涯 assessment, resume and cover letter review, 职业生涯-related workshops, and programs to assist with the necessary 技能 needed for post-graduation success. 除了, we foster relationships with campus departments and external employers to enhance internship job and 职业生涯 opportunities during the student lifecycle and beyond.

Hours and Location

Career services is located in the Student Engagement Center, Suite 3030 (3rd floor).

Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
